Baobab Microfinance limited is located along the Wulensi road on the former GCB building in the Nanumba North Municipality, Bimbilla.
The branch provides micro-financial needs to low-income earning and economically active women and men in the areas around the Nanumba North and South municipal district assemblies through community group loans and other credit facilities.
The aim of the branch is to alleviate poverty in these areas through susu savings, community group loans, fixed deposit investment amongst others. The operations of the Bimbilla branch have covered the whole Bimbilla township and most of its communities including Deemon. Pusuga, Binchara Tanga, Lipusi, Gulnyansi, Makayilli, Dipah, Nakpaa, Nakpayili, Wulensi, and Lungni all in the Kpandai District as well as Buya, Keteji and Banda. The Yendi Branch started operations in December, 2016. It is situated at the Police-Link Gbangbalga Nayili Sanbani, Yendi. The branch is always and consistently seeking ways to expand its service platform and currently has strong existence in the following communities aside the Yendi township; Sambu, Sang, Gunsi, Kpabia, Nkpachei, Bakpaba, O’Bondo Paunjido, Bunbong Nayili, Achiriyilli, Gushegu, Bandaya, Laligu, Sabari, Zabzugu and Tatale. It’s safe to say we have achieved a significant footprint across Yendi and its environs.

Baobab Microfinance Limited - Salaga branch is located at the Old GCB bank along the Mempeasem-Makango Road. The branch was officially opened in April 2018 to help the low income earning but economically active women in the East Gonga Municipality of the Savannah Region. Throughout the branch’s journey of operations, it has grown to becoming a genuine care-giver in micro-credit finances.
More so, with the objective of alleviating poverty amongst the rural poor through the group loans and other innovative products, the branch serves the financial needs of all. The branch has beyond the odds, succeeded in providing credit without collateral to thousands of poor people currently covering the whole of the Salaga township, Makango, Yeji and Chamba communities. The Sawla Branch was established in 2019 and officially commenced operations on 4th February, 2019. The branch has since whistled the Baobab brand in the entire West Gonja enclave: cutting from Sawla through Bole, Wakawaka, Tinga to Banda-Nkwanta to the extreme South-West of Gonjaland. Very much so, the people of Tuna, Gindabor, Nahari and Kalba are all beneficiaries of the operations of the Sawla Branch.
The branch has extensively widened its services over the last three (3) years and now has a successful footprint in running branchless operations in Damongo, the Capital of the Savannah Region and in Banda Nkwanta as well as Bamboi. As part of Baobab Microfinance Ltd. continued growth strategy, the Nalerigu office was opened in the North East Region, located along the Gambaga road directly opposite the Police Station to serve the financial needs of the people within the region.
The branch operates actively in Nalerigu township, Gambaga, Sakoo, Nagboo, Dindani, Yapala, Langbinsi, Gbangi just to mention a few. The branch in the near future is looking to extend to other communities around the East Mamprusi District and beyond.
