Alhaji Abdul-Rahman Al-Hassan is the Managing Director of Rahma Company Limited (RCL). Rahma Company Limited is a construction company registered with the Ministry of Works and Housing Class D1K1 (Building Works Class 1, Financial Class 1). He has been Managing RCL since 1989. He is the sole agent of an international Civil Engineering and Construction Company Ballast Nedam BV based in the Netherlands since 1990.

He was the agent of Marc/Glencore International AG, one of the largest global diversified natural resource commodities companies in the world, producing and trading more than ninety (90) commodities from 1979 to 2011 He is the Chairman of West Africa Hydraulic Limited (WAHL). WAHL is an engineering firm that specialises in hydraulic systems, manufacturing of pumps, motors, cylinders, hoses among others.

He is also the Chairman of Dart Communications Limited including Meridian Infotel Limited. He is the Board Member of Capital Group Limited, and Bonzali Rural Bank. And has been a Board member of Ghantrex Shipping Company BV since February; 2011. He was a Board member of Ghana Aviation Authority between from 2003 to 2009.

Alhaji Abdul Rahman Al-Hassan holds a certificate in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA in 2008. He completed a Masters’ degree in Civil Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology in London while still working as a full-time staff at the Tema Development Corporation. Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Hassan did his BSc. in Civil Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

He attended Government Secondary School in Tamale where he gained his GCE A’ Level and GCE O’ Level. He has a lot of experience working with top class companies such as Passal; a private construction firm located in London, Rainham Timber Engineering in Rainham Essex, UK as well as Bank for Housing and Construction where he held the position of Chief Engineer. He is happily married.
